Cancer link to graveyard shift

As grave as it is scientist that overnight work is dangerous because it disrupts the circadian rhythm, the body’s biological clock. The hormone melatonin which can suppress tumor development is normally produced at night. In 1987 Stevens published a link between light at night and breast cancer while he figures out why breast cancer suddenly shot up starting 1930s in industrialized societies. Night time work is considered as a hallmark of progress. Scientist believed having lower melatonin levels can raise the risk of developing cancer. Light shuts down melatonin production. If proven correct people working in artificial light at night may have lower melatonin production. Besides didn’t you know that our body needs complete darkness at night to rejuvenate and impend aging of skin? Even worse is flipping between daytime and overnight work. Not getting enough sleep makes your immune system vulnerable and less able to fight off potentially cancerous cells.

cancer: what are they?

Cancer develops as a combined effect of repeated assaults of carcinogens in the system. Longtime exposure to even small amounts of carcinogen may damage one's health. Carcinogens enter our food supply by way of processing and preservation methods like adding artificial color or overheating food. The main cause of throat and lung cancer is smoking. Cancer of the womb starts with no symptom and pain but may have irreguar bleeding in between periods ad following sexual intercourse. Breast cancer may be noted by hardening, lumps, or shrinkage of breasts.

How do we prevent cancer? Exercise, breathe clean, fresh air, avoid overeating, avoid smoky and stale air, and maintain good nutrition diet. Prolonged unnatural pressure on certain part of the body where no blood flows to the spot will make it normally die. Typist, transcriptionist beware. And those who slip with their cigarettes on their lips beware. This pressure points defends itself by drawing and sucking missing materials from its surroundings where an independent growth is formed.

In the beginning it grows very slowly until it grows very quickly into cancer. And with this case, it is better not to discturb a lump or growth but seek other treatment besides surgery. Many people I've known died right after the surgery was performed. We have certain practices that we take for granted. Sometimes smokers even know they are going to get cancer but still they persist on the habit saying we all die with old age or at an earlier time. Yes, maybe but are you willing to endure the pain? Cancer is painful, a lot of pain. You would want to die outright. What's funny for people who have cancer and who before take life for granted is they suddenly realized they don't want to die just yet. Regrets really are in the end so I hope young ones will learn from this blog.

Finding peace in this noisy world

Silence is essential to peace. If we kept on living in a very noisy world then there will come a time that we can’t even hear ourselves. Everyday we travel in space and in time but the noise just keep on haunting us. Look back and face those noises again. Meet the noise and reconcile yourself with the past, reconcile yourself with yourself, and meet yourself. Those events and things in our life that we find hard to accept, we try to accept it now, slowly. Look in the mirror and look at your eyes. You will know what you have inside you because your features will tend to be sharper. They say the eyes are the windows of the soul, you see those now. I wouldn’t know how to explain having no negative feelings. These emotions will stress you out and will make you sick. Start a healthy life with a healthy diet and exercise but what is most important is reconcile yourself with your past deeds. Meet your noise and meditate. You will see that you will feel lighter now. Take a big part of your body’s burden. Start now and start to live a good healthy life. Know that this is essential for health: peace in your heart, silence, and meditation.

secrets to a longer life

Everybody has been doing a lot of facials, botox, and injections to maintain and attain youth. But the secret to a longer life that can even beat cancer is really just by being happy. Beauty is what comes out from within to radiate and touch other people. Live the life of a good man so you will be happy, no flashbacks of bad experiences, no conscience to tackle, and no wrinkles from problems. I am not speaking of an ideal but just live simply. Live simply and be happy with life. Whenever you get something beyond what is sufficient that is a bonus!

Zone diet, helping people manage weight

Zone diet recommends a simple hand eyeball method measuring carbohydrates, protein, and fats the easy way. Many people are not successful with their diet plans because they get weary counting calories and reading food labels. Measuring becomes easy with the Zone diet plan because what you are going to do is to measure everything by the plate or by your hand. Measure it by the size of your hand which is relative to the size of your body. Your protein portion at each meal shall be measured by the size and thickness of your palm. Carbohydrates can be determined by curling your hands into 2 loose fists. Fats equal the size of your thumb. Quickest way is to give it a “thumbs up”. The aim is to maintain the ideal ratio of 40-30-30 for carbohydrates, proteins and fats respectively.

 

I am doing this now, slowly of course, I can’t discipline myself not to eat much when food looks great. But never mind me, I just want to share the best found that I had two weeks ago for dieters. Eat your meal or snack within an hour after waking. Try to eat frequent small meals whether you are hungry or not like every 4 to 6 hours after a meal or 2 to 2 ½ hours after a snack. Guys I am really interested with this because it is the simplest diet plan I’ve encountered in my research that is good for diabetics too. So eat 5 times a day like 3 meals and 2 snacks, hungry or not, remember that. And also try not to beat yourself gnawing food every now and then because your next meal or snack can absolutely get you right back on track.

 

All Zone meals begin with protein. And of course never forget to do the basic which is drinking 8 glasses of water everyday. Vitamin C cold connection

The presumption of people that Vitamin C prevents cold has no foundation. Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews found that vitamin C did little to reduce either the length or severity of colds. However it lowers the risk of people who are engaging in daily exercises regimen. So people think. Vitamins and other supplements may help to keep us healthy but the number one prevention is always exercise and fruit diet. So get on your feet now and start with catlisthenics, tai chi, or just plain walking.

Heart disease kills more women

Women beware! There's a troubling turn of more women under 45 dying of heart disease. Experts say increasing rate of obesity and other risk factors are to blame for increase of deaths due to clogged arteries. Fat and plaque clog the arteries feeding blood to the heart. Hardening of the arteries takes years for to get dangerously blocked. Careful ladies of how you manage your diet. Better take high fiber carbohydrates to slim down a little. Practice makes perfect. Drink more water, eat frequent meals in small amounts, and never starve yourself to death. It relies more in the diet plan and selection of food. The safest way is to eat fruits, lots of fruits, and review your basic food groups.

Avandia drug

FDA has approved for the avandia drug to remain in the market provided that it will add new label information of the potential risk for heart attacks. Avandia is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Pa, and is used to treat type 2 diabetes. Users over the years indicated enough evidence for risks of heart attack or death. FDA requested to reevaluate potential cardiovascular risk of avandia.

Plague bacteria what about it?

Eric york of Arizona was reported to have likely died of plague in his home in November 2, 2007. He probably got it while performing necropsy on a mountain lion that likely died of the infection. Flu like symptoms showed October 30 three days after the lion autopsy. I guess it will give people only a week before it gets them to rest for a lifetime. Plagues are easily confused with flu. Transmission is from direct contact with infected tissues or fluids from carriers. It is flea borne. Fleas feeds on rodents where the bacteria is maintained in the blood system of rodents and which fleas injects to humans when they get the chance to bite them.

Cough droplets containing plague bacteria into air that is breath by a non infected person will start the infection cycle. The typical sign of plague is a very swollen lymph gland accompanied by pain. When plague bacteria invades the bloodstream, it multiplies rapidly. An infected person will experience high fever, chills, cough, breathing difficulty and spitting of bloody sputum. In left unattended this plague can progress rapidly to death.

Diabetes Insipidus

I never knew that urinating a lot is already a form of disorder. I was made to understand that frequency is directly proportional to fluids intake. I for one urinates a lot and even if we were travelling, we have to stop in a gasoline station or any fast food service like Jollibee just to urinate. It was very hard for me to make it through the night without urinating and drinking water. I often wake up four to five times because of this and I was thinking it was just a hard habit to break. Yesterday I wrote an essay about diabetes and accidentally discovered this inconvenient urinating habit as one of diabetes type of disease. My brother was just admitted to the hospital due to vomitting and he was diagnosed of diabetes. My father died of diabetes complications. And now I have this type which enables me to drink a lot of water and urinate the same amount. It feels like taking it in at this moment and then a few seconds it goes out in the form of urine. The only consolation that I have is that, it is not as severe as the other types as long as I keep on drinking fluids I will not become dehydrated. Still it worries me if this will sort of upgrade to the higher class. May I know from the readers if they have friends that have experienced this kind of illness? What have they been doing? What is the diet plan that they are following? Any comment is greatly appreciated.
